BMW's PLAN FOR THE FUTURE

BMW is planning to revive its extinct 6-series. The new car is expected to fit in between the 5-series in terms of both price and size. The New 6-series has an amazingly aggressive stance compared with the upcoming '04 5-series remodel, including massive wheel arches and a large sloping windsheild. The car will borrow parts from the Z9 concept car, which was displayed at the international auto shows in Los Angeles and Detroit. We can't wait!

BMW also has plans to mass produce a small car dubbed the 1-series. This car is expected to be place between the New Mini and the popular 3-series. This class will compete with the the hopefully upcoming Audi A2. It will be priced around the area of 20 grand, and will have a coupe and convertable(?) version. All of this, however, is just speculation, and it is not a promise they will be produced. Let's all just hope they deicide to go ahead with it.

All New AUDI A4!!
The New AUDI A4 will be getting a 217-hp V-6. The new engine will better help the AUDI compete with other German rivals such as the BMW 3-series and the Mercedes-Benz C-class. It will also compete against the new Japanese contestant, the Lexus IS300. The new A4 is expected to go on sale in 2002.

Goodbye Olds.
The Oldsmobile Division of GM has been around longer than most companies. Its finally getting some worthy cars into production, and then GM pulls the plug. The number of cars sold was also rising, but GM said "it had to be done." The current Olds cars will die out as their car life spans run out. Just introduced the All New Bravada is a great car, as is the new Aurora, but they will all be killed off within a few years. On a good note, because of the death sentence, the Oldsmobile dealers are now offering great deals on all new Oldsmobiles.

So Long Oldsmobile!
